The lake is a wonderful example of nature's beauty and is a paradise on earth. There is a beautiful boathouse, which houses a restaurant. This is maintained by the Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation. One would definitely love boating in this wonderful lake and the pykara falls close to the lake is a fantastic place where one can enjoy photography.
