Dharmastala is perhaps the most known temple town in Karnataka located on the banks of the Nethravathi River. Dharmasthala is famous for Sri Manjunatheshwara Temple and Bahubali Statue of 39 feet height and weighing more than 210 tons. Sri Manjunatheshwara Temple houses a lingam of gold.

In Dharmastala free food is given for all pilgrims everyday. Everybody can feel comfortable at the guest houses, which have all modern amenities.
