Rose Garden is the heart and soul of city of Ooty. Centenary Rose park is located at Vijayanagaram – Udhgamandalam ( Ooty ) and is maintained by department of Horticulture of Government of Tamil Nadu. This garden has largest collection of roses among any Indian garden. Different kinds of roses are grown in all colors and sizes, incorporating different hybrid quality like tea and miniature roses which are gathering great footing in the market place these days.

It has also received the as "Garden of Excellence" by the World Federation of Rose Societies (WFRS). in 2006. So far, 15 rose gardens in different parts of the world have been awarded the `garden of excellence' certificates and presented with plaques.
