State Central Library is located in the century old Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall in the premises of the Cubbon Park in Bangalore.

The library has got a rich collection of reference books. In 1986 the library was designated as State Central Reference Library and it is open to public only for consultation of documents within its premises. The building has red Gothic structures and a unique architectural style of stone and fluted pillars, with walls finished in lime plaster. Beautiful rosary located in-front of the Library attracts many visitors.
